Dr. Troung-Minh Vu is the Director for the Center for International Studies (SCIS) at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Rise of China and the South China Sea Disputes (Springer, forthcoming in 2015). James Borton was a panelist at the recent Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) symposium on the South China Sea. Parts of this analysis were presented at the CSIS program. Borton edited, The South China Sea: Challenges and Promises and is a non-resident fellow at the Center for International Studies (SCIS) at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
